About Megan 

Since she was a kid, Megan has wanted to own a flower shop. At age 11, all she asked for in birthday gifts were bouquets of flowers. For every Solo-Cup plant-growing project in grade school, she always selected to grow snapdragons- still a favorite to use to this day. When an opportunity came up to do the flowers for her sister’s wedding in 2005, she fell in love with the idea of event florals. Soon the rest of her family wanted her to help them with the flowers for all their weddings. When she and her husband bought a house in which they had the ability to build out a shop, she decided to bring a 14 year career as a nanny to a close and start her own floral business. In 2018, she did just that with great support from her family and the community in and around Northern Virginia; hence the nod to Northern Virginia in the name NoVa Blooms.

Now, Megan wants to provide beautiful moments and leave memories in each event, holiday and special occasion, while providing fair pricing and personal service. Based on what her clients have said and the reviews that she has received, it is appreciated that she is responsive, communicative, and flexible to each individual client's needs, all while bringing their visions to life and exceeding expectations.
